 Highest quality USB speaker, but expensive July 16, 2010

Bought mine with a discount at $37.This is the second USB speaker that I have.
The first one was a GREAUDIO 2.0 USB, which sounded slightly inferior than this Altec USBs.
I think this set is rather expensive though.
Needs to come down to around $20. I guess this is the price you pay for the quality and name brand.
Performance wise, I think it is very good. Loud volume and virtually no distortion. I give it 2 thumbs up for the performance and quality, not on price.

Great little product. I take it with me and my computer to listen to music and movies. Fills the room. I wish it had dual connectors so I could use it with my ipod and the computer.

Just plug it in and it's good to go. Does a good job of filling up the room with just USB power. Very good audio quality considering the size. Everyone in a group of 15-10 can hear the audio clearly when I project videos from my laptop.

No where does it state that the Orbit does not work with a Mac. Shame on them.

Small and easy to use. Quality of sound is better than other speakers this size, BUT the volume is not any better. This speaker has no volume control. I teach English and need something that is clear and loud enough for students to hear the sounds of the language without having to be 2 feet away from the speaker.
